AWARD WINNING INTERIOR DESIGN

Find Your Inspiration

Design Theory Interiors, under the direction of Jamie Kern, ASID, has received countless awards for Design Excellence from the American Society of Interior Designers.  She has been featured in publications including  Silicon Valley Magazine’s “Best of Silicon Valley”, Architectural Digest’s AD100 for “Best of the South Bay”,  Atlanta’s Jezebel Magazine, and more.

Jamie’s compelling modern interiors are profoundly personal.  At the heart of every interior design project is a desire to convey a meaningful part of a homeowner’s spirit.  She approaches the process of interior design with a thoughtful understanding of a client’s unique lifestyle demands, passions and goals that will ultimately aid her in telling that client’s story.

She has a long history of collaborating with teams on construction projects nationwide.  Designer, architect, builder, homeowner and artisans join forces to bring the best of their ingenuity and expertise to your home.

Trust that little voice in your head that says “wouldn’t it be interesting if” …and then do it.

Ingenuity, Insight, & Imagination

Jamie’s style has been described as clever, unexpected, easy going, and posh.  And she insists that a home or a single space can reflect all of these without sacrificing  comfort or function.  Her relaxed aesthetic is elevated with artful placement of luxury materials alongside organic textures and then amplified further with a smart interplay of color and lighting.  Jamie believes a well designed interior will draw you in and insist you take notice and be changed by the experience.
