I have a passion for seating.  My husband will attest to that.  He’s the guy that drags all of the extra chairs to the attic until I find the perfect home or fabric for them.  Seating is essential to comfort and function, and it creates a sense of welcome to visitors.  But it can also have another important role in interior design; that of artistic focal point.   Every room needs that little something that says WOW and for centuries chairs and settees have found their place in the history of design from as far back as the Greek Klysmos chair.

Today’s marketplace is bursting at the seams with daring seating from the eco-friendly to the minimalist to the extravagant and even the comical . . . . . .
