Shop Breathable Face Masks

I had to travel from California to Atlanta in early June.   I had to wear a mask from the minute the car picked us up at 10 am until I left the Atlanta Airport 8 1/2 hours later.  I was miserable.  No mask has allowed me to breathe comfortably, they all hit my nose in a way that makes my nostrils feel like they’re glued together, and the heat . . . .

I haven’t been cold since 2010 so the last thing I need is something that makes me hotter’n Georgia asphalt in freakin’ mid July.

So began my mission to find a bearable and breathable mask.  I’ve had some success finding a few that actually allow me to feel like a human when I’m wearing them. Why?  Because they’re actually designed to be worn if you work out so they’re meant to be breathable, lightweight and comfortable.

The first is by Onzie and these are designed more for women.  And I say that just because the fabrics are a little more girlie and you don’t get to choose the fabrics.  You order a pack – a pack comes with a pari of masks – and you get what you get.  But I swear these feel light on the face and they’re so much more beautiful.

The second is by Adidas.  They offer a mask with a breathable technical fabric that’s great for working out.  They come in blue and black but they sell out fast so you usually have to get on the email list to be notified when they’re stocked.  $16 gets you a pack of 3.

And then there’s the Athleta Made to Move pack of 3 for $25.  These are also fast sellers so it’s not uncommon to find that they’re on backorder.  Get your email on their list for restock reminders!

I’m going to keep up with this and continue to search for the perfect mask so I’ll be updating this list as I discover new and improved products.
